About Mowgli

Mowgli started life in Foster care, was adopted, put into boarding school and then found himself in youth housing at 16. From a young age, Mowgli has been aware of the suffering in families and in community. Being a queer, mixed race boy, Mowgli experienced and witnessed many types of discrimination, prejudice and abuse within community.

Coming into adulthood, Mowgli focused on his creative outlets working as a Model, Dancer, Director, Choreographer and Performer. This is where his teaching found its foundation. Alongside performing, Mowgli also worked in mental health as a care worker from the age of 18.

When Covid-19 entered our world, Mowgli retired from performing and focused on study and research, mostly into the well being of human beings. He qualified as a yoga teacher, studied family constellation work, energy and chakra systems, herbalism and many other alternative healing methods.

When lockdown lifted, Mowgli began to reach out to communities who lived off grid and who focused on clean, organic living and were inspired by working in community. This is where he found the power behind circling and ultimately became inspired to create as many safe spaces for people to sit in circle and support each other in being seen and heard. And so, Incircles was born.
